Pair of top-10 finishes for Briar and Jake at Southern Raceway

Saturday saw Cheatham Racing return to action with both Briar and Jake competing at Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) for the track’s May Madness.

With time trials setting the grid for both features, Briar clocked in third-fastest in the CRUSA Street Stock ranks while Jake timed in third-quick in a field of 14 CRUSA Late Models. Both drivers raced to a top-10 finish in their A-Mains, with Jake crossing the line in seventh and Briar recording an eighth-place finish.
