Briar Cheatham rolls to second in Street Stock at Deep South

Competing in two divisions, Briar Cheatham invaded Deep South Speedway (Loxley, Ala.) on Saturday to pilot his Three Trade Consultants No. 87 Late Model and Street Stock.

Starting in eighth in both features, Cheatham followed up a ninth-place showing in the Crate Late Model A-Main with a stellar eighth-to-second charge in the 15-lap Street Stock main event. He finished 1.342 seconds behind Chris Bayhi with Steven Fretwell, Dennis Ross, and Tommy Lowery rounding out the top-five.
